As a practical application of the principle of tolerance, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered renaming the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Mosque in Al Mushrif, to 'Mariam, Umm Eisa' — Arabic for ‘Mary, the mother of Jesus "Peace be upon them". This was to establish humanitarian relations among religions' followers, which our true religion and the commonalities among divine religions have urged us to adopt.
